  • STOP RUNNING PATHFINDER ON A SECOND SERVER AND ADD THE FUCKING PATHFINDER TO THE BOT !!!

    Puffmutti
    • Version: All Product: WRobot General Type: Bug Status: Fixed

    THis is disgusting.

We are paying monthly for a bot and get this issue over and over again every fucking week .

Accounts gets always banned because of this and druidz doesnt even care!

Will be nice if droidz start taking care about customers accounts and finally add the fucking pathing system to the bot .

With this system its only causing problems over and over and over again!!!

    respect for what?

That droidz dont give a shit about our account safety ?

this issue is here for over months now and nothing changed.

alot of accounts got reported + banned because of this !

There is no reason to be a stupid white knight for this shit.

the only thing that he actually cares is money... thats why he seperated the pathing server .

lets be true here : if he would actually care about the customer he would give a fuck about the small amount of crack version users and give the paying customers a better experience.

    dont you agree?

    Hello,

Sorry for the inconvenience, I worked on it to avoid to get the problem again once more.

Except when the pathfinder server bug or is overload, it is better for users than use pathfinder server instead the pathfinder integrated to WRobot, I have generated meshes with better details, you use less RAM (this depend of current continent and used profile, but you can on big continent if you request big profile you can use more than 500mb of ram only for pathfinder (and of course your CPU)), you save time (you don't need to download meshes, this can take a lot of time (several minutes) for big path when you are on new continent), you save disk space ("Kalimdor" continent is ~500mb compressed and 9100 files).

My advantage, yes crack WRobot is more hard (but it is benefit to you also, more there are bots, the more the gold/items loses value and the more the server is able to find protection), but it is the only advantage for me.

I get problems only with Vanilla server, and it is not all time the more used. Last problem with pathfinder was the July 4 (and several times some days before July 4), but before and after pathfinder was stable, I hope than this time it is the last.

    Again sorry for the inconvenience.

First the Bot is not a 100% functional and safe program, as already described in the sale, do not want to be banned or at risk? Do not use. But you are using and paying for it, do not complain about banishment in this case, you have full right to ask for a "assistance", but no offense, wrobot support to your customers is great.

    summarizing: No need to offend.

    First, thanks for the fix.

I realized the bot calls the path server way often. Maybe it's because it was down, but what happened is:

    - Need to go A -> B, long path accros 2-3 different areas.
    - Mob attack, path to mob loaded
    - Fight done, we are 1/50 of the original path, re-ask for current pos -> B

If A -> B is very long, I guess the compute time required is big. If you can share some details on pathing it would be nice, on a dev perspective. Which algo is used? Using contraction hierarchies? It's just to help understand how it currently works.

Thanks! PM welcome too. And in French if you prefer hehe
