VanillaFlightMaster – Horde 1.1.1

   (1 review)

About This File

Updated @FNV316's plugin to accommodate Vanilla Horde flight paths; original plugin found below – major credit to original author for an awesome plugin:

Features:

  • Completely overrides WRobot's native taxi (flight) system
  • Takes flight paths when destination is > 1000 yards away (default)
  • Discovers previously undiscovered flight paths when within 50 yards (default) of new flight master
  • Automatically update available flights paths of a character whenever the taxi map is opened
  • Stops bot if repeatedly stuck at the gate between Loch Modan and Searing Gorge
  • Avoids flight paths located in high-level zones

How it works:

The plugin calculates the travel distance between your character's position and his/her destination; if the travel path is > 1000 yards (default), the plugin searches the flight master database for a shorter path – if a shorter path utilizing flight masters is found, then plugin will take said flight.

Settings:

Only set flight paths to true if you know for certain that they are available to your character; if set to true and the flight path is not known, the plugin will still attempt to fly.

What's New in Version 1.1.1   See changelog

Released

  • Fixed issue causing newly discovered flight paths to fail to update to True in plugin settings

I am not sure what you mean; how is the bot stuck between TB and Camp T – what is it doing?  If the flight master in Shadowprey @ Desolace is not discovered, the bot cannot fly there.

If the Shadowprey flight master is not discovered, but you have manually set this flight path to discovered (true) in the plugin's settings, the plugin will try to take the flight path, but it will fail.

Quote

Only set flight paths to true if you know for certain that they are available to your character; if set to true and the flight path is not known, the plugin will still attempt to fly.

could you add a feature that automatically blacklists certain destination when levelin.
For example i now manually blacklistet the flightpoint in felwood, because the bot kept on flying there to reach certain spots in ashenvale, which of cause is a shitty idea with lvl 30.

I can add a plugin setting that allows users to toggle (true/false) the ability to avoid zones based off of level requirements.

An example:  if the 'avoid' setting were true, the plugin would avoid using the Felwood flight path if your character is below the Felwood zone level of 48, i.e., characters level 47 and below would avoid the Felwood flight path.  I can also add a setting that allows users to define an acceptable level gap for flight paths; for example, an acceptable gap of "2" would mean characters level 46 and up would be able to use the Felwood level 48 flight path, and likewise, an acceptable gap of "5" would mean the same for characters level 43 and up.

Please let me know if this is what you are looking for; in the interim, all you can do is manually disable the flight paths that are causing you trouble.

This feature has been added to the plugin – please let me know if you notice any bugs when the 'avoid' settings are configured
