Selling Items not mailing them

After a certain amount of time (not been able to find a specific time) it will no longer sell items in the bags.  It just continues to open the vendor, but doesn't sell anything. It had sold previously during the same profile and routes. I am assuming it is because it is supposed to be mailing items, but it is stating that it cannot find a mailbox.  It is standing right next to a mailbox at that moment too.
