I had the same freezes if you re using a amd system its might because of the ide ata controller driver of windows 10 provides. If you re experiencing the same thing you should download your chipset drivers on amd driver site open the downloaded exe and then it will copy some files to C:/Amd folder now you need to open the device manager find ide ata/atapi controllers and click on update driver select browse and select the amd folder I mentioned it ll update your driver freezing will go away atleast mine was solved that way.

 

Edit : This applies to Windows 10 with Amd Chipset Users.
