I understand the starting post, this is more of a development bot. you are better off sticking with HB if you want a click and go tbh and others to create profiles for you because HB employs people like EchoTiger who directly do this sort of thing and gets paid everyday to do it, WRobot doesnt have that kind of team. Creating the bot base itself is a huge task and upkeep.

For me i love this bot, i get to make all my own profiles and plugins. Planning to release stuff when i feel ive produced decent products.

Hey, having a small issue with the bot emptying its bags too often.

Its not too major but it is hindering its NPH because it keeps going to mail quite often. I have the free bag slots set to 2 in the advanced tab but for some reason it never gets close, almost looks like its only including 1 bag? and not the other 3 that are empty. This was a converted file, but ive tried rewriting the file fresh and it still does the same thing which is why im assuming it could just be a setting i have wrong.

Im wondering if this is buried in the settings somwhere and is just somthing that ive overlooked or if somone can provide insight onto what the issue might be?

Had this happen to me before it doesnt mean anything so dont worry about it.

Ive had it come up when ive done the wrong login a few times, so maybe check you have the right credentials being entered by the bot, ive also had this appear when i swap accounts between my workstations. So no panic this has been around a long time.

If you look at the structure of the XML files grinder and gatherer are easy.  Usually its just a bunch of co-ordinates(Vectors)  to make the path and if its a grinder there will be a section of the XML file that has the NPC ID's for the mobs you want to attack...  For gatherer / grinder i would expect the conversion tool to work fine.

 

Quester is a different story.  all the HB profiles i have seen that are worth a damn are shipped with custom "plugin packages".  The profile actually calls that plugin to change the way the bot works for that quest pulse.  Obviously without the plugin package you are in trouble.  On top of this- it will require a load of 'code sanitation' as the HB profiles have a lot more steps that wrobot doesnt use.  My experience with HB quest conversion was a 1-60 profile.. i had a function Wrobot 1-60 quester with ~1300 steps... the converted HB profile had just over 4000... it was probably easy to just remake the quest profile rather than try to get the converted file to work with all the debug it would take.

 

post a link to the HB profiles you have- maybe we can get some of them working..

Yes you can create the most stuff with the xml editors but you will be limited to the existing functions. For real profiles you need to create them in C#

You can find some examples at the tutorial or dev forum. Also the community is kinda helpfull if you have questions about the API.

Ok that explains it thanks for the heads up. if can do basic stuff with just XML then thats all good, im a Java/ C#/ python programmer so this works out nicely. Sounds good.

Hello all, recently signed up here as ive heard good things about this bot and its community.

Can any1 give me a quick run down of what languages and so forth are used to create profiles/plugins/bases for this particular bot? Im proficient in a few high level languges/ scripting/ markup. Looking to broaden into this bot, at some point would like to start giving back to the community when i pull myself up to speed on the development. Thanks for any help or advice being given.
