flying long distance mesh system impovement

  • Product: WRobot General
  • Type: Suggestion
  • Status: Not a Bug

I guess that pather works with meshes right... I noticed if I choose a new profile whats far away the bot takes some odd routes, like flying through a ally base with high lvl elites, where u die instantly and no chance to resurrect anywhere... or Icecrown for exampe with mountains raising out the ground 90 degrees and very tall, where the bot just flies against it and dont know how to handle it... sure I could blacklist ally bases, but wouldnt it be useful, it takes the mesh of the map, takes the highest point of of all nodes on the route, flies up to this height and travels til the start node of the other profile? Or it just could check the height of all obstacles 1000 yrds in front of it and changes the own height position linearly? Now its using that flying mount like a ground mount just that it flies like 5 yrds above the ground not able to avoid very tall mountains and so on...

Hello,

If you use ground profile, WRobot go to the profile with ground mount (or flying mount in ground mode (only 3 or 4 yard above ground)).

If you use flying profile, WRobot go to the profile with flying mount.

But it is very delicate to found good way, I cannot know if ground profile is in house or outdoor, for avoid problem I prefer use ground path.

I improve this gradually, but it is long.
