Interact with NPC

Trying to setup a quester to interact with an NPC to make the slipstream jump in Vortex Pinnacle. I can get it to run up to the ledge, but for some reason it doesn't click on the slipstream to jump to the next platform.

 

Is using interact with NPC best option here?

 

I am using NPC 45455.
