RULES for Help and Support [Required to Read before Posting]

Featured Replies

Hello and welcome to the Help and Support forums.

To make things easier for us to help you we ask that you use this specific guideline to using when asking for help.

1. When making your Topic Title, it is good to put in brackets the type of help needed

Example Topic Title: [Archaeology] - Not running properly ( or error numbers and such, describe the best you can in a few words.

2. When posting your problem, Please post your most current logs when the issue occurred ( even if the bot does not start, i usually makes a log saying whats wrong )

You can use the forums uploading attach file system, or upload it somewhere your choosing.

3. Explain to the best of your knowledge the issue you are having.

4. Make sure to search for solutions for your problem if they are already posted on the forums, and make sure to check the guides to see if you may need to take additional steps to make the bot work for you.

5. After posting please wait for us to get to you to help. We are pretty fast about getting to respond to you, but sometimes life happens.

6. Enjoy your day after we work together mutually to make your bot run smooth :)

These are simple guidelines we ask for you to follow so we can know what to look for and how to help you.

Thank you.

Expanding upon Creative's original post, Before asking for help please make sure you have your bot installed and configured properly.  There are several tutorials here already, If you cannot get the bot working up to these basic standards, please post in the appropriate tutorial before starting your own topic.

Second note, again referring to having the bot running correctly, please make sure you have run Windows Update and installed all available updates to Windows as well as C++ and .NET Framework,  These are all needed.  The installer does download and install C++ 12U1 as well as .Net 4.0 Client Profile, but, it does not install Microsoft patches, it just makes sure the basic programs are there.  Think of it this way, if you go to a store and buy Microsoft Windows 7 and install it on your computer, you still need to run windows update to get SP1.  Well my installer will install the basic program, but it cannot check for updates from a company we are not affiliated with.  So short version...

Run Windows Update

Third and Final note, If you are experiencing a bug, or have a suggestion, please use the bug tracker to submit your findings or suggestions.  This forum is for asking for help for features of the bot already implemented, not suggestions.  If you do find a bug, by all means, feel free to post it here and then link to your topic submitted to the bugtracker.  In your topic you can further explain what is happening and what you are trying to resolve it.

Please also refer to Creative's post about how to format your request for help.

Creating a unified topic as this forum is starting to get out of hand. Please make sure to read through all posts here entirely before posting your thread.  Repeated abuse of our rules will soon result in the warning system being utilized.  We try our hardest to answer every question to the best of our abilities, and to implement bugfixes for legitimate problems as quickly as possible.  However, it is starting to get tiresome answering the same questions over and over, and asking for Logs.  If you start a topic stating "Help my bot doesnt work" or "WRobot does not open, what do I do"  Then we can't help you.  All posts documenting problems are required to have an attached Log in html format, please not zipped.  A Log is what shows us what went wrong with wrobot when you were configuring it, or running a particular product from the wrobot suite.  No Log, No Answer.
