September 20, 20169 yr I seem to be having difficulty with Demonbolt. It seems to intermittently work, most of the time it won't cast at all, other times it will cast as expected, I'll hazard a guess it's something really obvious but i'm stuck trying to work it out! Other than that, the rotation seems to work pretty well. demonology.xml

September 20, 20169 yr Author When none of the other values are met (i.e. demonbolt is a filler spell to build up shards) edit: I did try setting it to cast if soul shards are less than 5 and having the same issue. Just testing again on another set of mobs to see if i could work things out, it initially casted in the rotation and then didn't cast again after it had built up 2 shards for dreadstalkers, and then cast dreadstalkers.

It is a very simple combat file you have there :) there are several things you can try: "is spell usable" this way you can check if the other spells are "usable" = ready to be casted. "set a more specific souldshard system" right now it seems like the bot just pick a skill random, as you have like 5-10 spells saying below x shards with max 1 other condition. also a good idea to check for "have pet" in your profile.
September 20, 20169 yr Author The priority system outweighs the requirement for a more specific soulshard system does it not? The way I understand it, is the bot runs through the list priority high to low. Attempt priority 10 > Can't cast, try priority 9 > Can't cast try priority 8 and so on and so forth until it can cast, then restarts at priority 10 again? Only reason I have set the soulshards as they are is they require that specific amount of soulshards to cast (Except hand of gul'dan - but that's optimum at 4) The problem is only with the Demonbolt where i'm having to cast it manually but not all of the time - Incidentally as a simple combat file it's actually out performing the one that's listed in the forum with the only issue been manually casting of demonbolt at the moment. EDIT: Fixed the issue, not sure exactly how i've managed to work it out but seems to work well anyway.
