Attacking dead mobs slain by other NPCS

  • Version: All
  • Product: Grinder
  • Type: Bug
  • Status: Not a Bug

Hello, Currently any mob that has been slain by another NPC will not be skipped. Causing wRobot to attack the dead mob for about 5s before skipping it. The blacklist is only temporary and will come back every loop when you walk near the dead mob again. This can be seen in an example for skinning in Runewood and Farondale as there are wolfs attacking horses and bears fighting humans that cause this bug.

Both the Runewood in Stormheim and Farondale in Aszuna have bears attacking deer, wolves attacking horses etc. So this bug comes up pretty often. I am sure there are other zones that have this issue as well. I will post them if I find them.

Any updates on this issue?

I have the same issue when going for fatty bearsteak (among many other time as I leveled). With the fatty bearsteak, there are some "human" NPC's that stand next to "dead" bears (bears never despawn even after you kill the "human" NPC next to them).

Why does the bot attack targets that are already dead?

Yup thats one of the spots where this happen. My guess is the bot just looks for the Mob ID of the closest mob without checking if its dead. Attacks that mob for 5 seconds then blacklists and moves on. Problem is this 5 seconds it takes for blacklisting can get you killed or really slows the bot down if it needs to do it often.

Hello, can you check if dead mob have buff (with "dev... tools" tab "tool")
