Death Knight Starting Zone (Horde & Alliance) 1.0.0

(0 reviews)

Death Knight Starting Zone plays the whole Death Knight starting zone for you. It starts at the first quest in Acherus and ends with the letter to your faction leader: Thrall in Orgrimmar for Horde, King Varian Wrynn in Stormwind for Alliance. That's all 44 quests, including every vehicle quest.

I wrote it because the starting zone is where most profiles fall apart: vehicles, crowded towns, elites standing next to quest mobs, and a battle at the end. This one has been run start to finish on several characters.

how to install

  • Install Helix PathFinder first and tick it in the Plugins tab: https://wrobot.eu/files/file/2093-helix-pathfinder/

  • Download this file and unzip it into your WRobot Profiles\Quester folder, so that Dk Starting zone.xml and the Lib folder sit next to each other.

  • Start WRobot, choose the Quester product and load Dk Starting zone.

  • Optional: select a Death Knight fight class. Inside the starting zone the profile does its own fighting; your fight class is used once you leave it (the trip to Orgrimmar or Stormwind at the end).

  • Start the product with your new Death Knight in Acherus.

Features

  • The whole zone, start to finish: the Acherus chain, Havenshire, Light's Point, New Avalon, the Scarlet Hold, Light's Hope and the letter to your faction leader.

  • Every vehicle quest: the Eye of Acherus, the stolen horse, the Deathcharger, the mine car and the Scarlet cannons, the gryphons, and the frost wyrm in An End To All Things, which destroys all 10 ballistae and the 150 soldiers with shots it aims itself.

  • Safe pulls: clears mobs off its path one at a time and uses Death Grip to pull them in. It goes around groups or waits for patrols to pass, never pulls elites, and gets away from dangerous named mobs when they come close.

  • Rests before hard fights.

  • Waits instead of running around in the quests that need it: while a persuaded Scarlet is talking, and at its post in the battle for Light's Hope.

  • Trains at the Death Knight trainer once per new level, and remembers it per character.

  • Buys food, sells and repairs only when it needs to, and only where a vendor is.

  • Takes the shortcuts a player would: the Portal to Acherus after Scarlet Armies Approach, and the Acherus portal to Orgrimmar or Stormwind for the final quest.

  • Stop and start it whenever you like and it picks up where you left off. Do this only while your character is on foot, never while riding a vehicle.
