Do you have auto loot enabled in the World of Warcraft settings?

You could make a custom proflie to farm the lock boxes. Wouldnt take to much to make one.

There is a built in profile converter. Although it wont be converted perfectly. You will have to go in and check what went wrong in the proflie. Also alot of zones changed quest wise in cata. So that could also be a problem.

Use the auction house or a guild bank to sell the gold.

You have to make your own fight class(or find someone's that works really well) if you want top dps. For alts I have actually made some that pull more dps than I pull. If I was home I could provide links for guides on fight class creation. You you are still struggling when I get back which will be atleast 8 hours I will shoot you those links. You can find them in the tutorials area.

Just solved my problem with more looking :D. I just had to change mount distance in the advanced settings.

Hi guys, wondered if there was a way to make my character mount back up directly after gathering a node. Right now it runs to the node (while mounted). Then it runs back to the path (on foot). After it gets to the path it then mounts up.

I herb and mine mostly. Transmog would be great if you can make profiles to run dungeons. My favorite expansion to mine and herb is BC. With some of my mats I make Turbo-Charged Flying Machine. If you dont want to make something with what you farm you can just plop whatever you farm on the AH. Id recommend posting the items on a separate account, and at the least a separate character than the one doing the farming. Once in a while I farm WoTLK mats to make Mechano-Hog. I dont like making Mechano-Hogs just because i have to spend my own gold on the vendor items.

With my time botting I have found that I can make just as much gold in the earlier expansions. I can generally farm more items in a shorter amount of time, and the items usually sell for around the same as the current expansion items.

I have also heard great things about the auction bot. If you can set it up correctly you can have it snipe items and list for a profit. I feel like it is probably the safest way to make gold without getting caught also.

Depends on your server. I like to farm old world items. Less competiton for me.

So i'm starting a quester profile to get an undead character to 15. I am already stuck on the 2nd quest The Shadow Grave. My problem is I cant seem to get the bot to path down into the crypt and then back out. Im extremely new to this so it could be the easiest thing ever. Here is what i have so far. Thanks in advance, + rep to the first to fix my issue.

Sorry was busy yesterday. And Like Benix said, no you do not have to reistall wrobot every time you use it.

Installation:
- Download and Unzip (extract) "WRobot.zip" on your computer.
- Launch program "Update" (in "WRobot" folder).
- Click the button "Install/Update" to install or update WRobot.
- When the update or install is finished, you can close this program and launch WRobot.exe from the installed directory.

I bot around 8 hours a day. But I tend to go through spells where I don't bot at all. I mainly use grinder/gatherer. I make enough gold with those that I don't really have any desire to branch out. One great way to remain safe is look for someone that does alot of buying. Let them know you are willing to farm whatever they want. Settle on a price, make a profile to farm what they want, and profit!

I even sell huge amounts on the auction house at once, although i farm on an alt account and do the guild bank shuffle. But yea i haven't been banned and I've been botting over a year. I've even let the bot run for 14 hours straight. Just make sure the profile you are using runs flawlessly. Don't trust profiles posted by others until you have had a considerable amount of time watching them. Number 1 way of getting banned is someone reporting you from being stuck on something. 

Id also like if it worked for 1.12 I play very casually on Nostalrius. Not a big deal though if it is alot of work. Droidz, if you need help with anything let me know.

I think its more of a yes, just because it may make wrobot a little more money in the long run. As long as it doesn't take away from the current content bot. And yea I wouldn't worry about supporting every patch ect, just support what you play.

Droidz could always keep the private servers bot/forum in a separate area on the website, or maybe even a different website entirely, that way we don't stumble across a fight class designed for TBC when we are playing current content.

All in all i think it could work, personally it isn't a big deal to me.

Thats how i do it. Bot on my alt account 13 hours a day and always have the ah filled.

Got it to work by turning off flying. Now the problem is the mount seems like it is to fast for Wrobot. Any suggestions on fixing this? Like maybe increase the distance it has to travel to each new location?

Hey guys was wondering if anyone has successfully created a gatherer profile for Vashj'ir. (Vashj'r is an all underwater zone) I cant get my profile to work there, it just continually swims to the top of the water. Thanks in advance for help.

I am new to botting with this being my first try/attempt. What is the fastest way to go from 1-60 on a Troll Druid? And how long would it take? (estimate)

 

Also any other tips and tricks for a newbie would be nice.

Honestly I would level to 60 yourself. There just isn't alot of options. Pretty sure there aren't quests made for 1-60. You could always try out the grinder options. If you go the grinder route id pick up skinning and do i that way. If you have any questions just hit me up.
