  1. I would like to see a gui to create dungeon profiles before I would want to see support for older versions of the game.  It's nice that I can use your example file to code a dungeon profile, but we really need a noob friendly gui to make dungeon and raid profiles.

Old content 25 man raids are the best and safest places to bot for gold since there are no other players around to report you.  But we don't have any profiles available to farm them each week.

  2. Dungeon grinder would be asking for a ban imo. It is ofc possible to make one, but I would never touch it.

i have wrobot solo old dungeons and raids.  it's only sketchy when you are grouped.  if you were to bot heroic pandaria stuff, wrobot would have to be programmed with each mechanic of every fight just to survive.

it would be better to have a dungeon product that is aimed at soloing instances, not working in a party.  if wrobot could zone in , zone out, reset dungeons, and change difficulty, you could have it running dungeons all day solo and be 100% more safe from bans than anything else you're doing right now with wrobot.

even fishing is sketchy if players notice you in the same location forever.  hop into an instance and fish and no one will run by to report you.

  3. To queue for the CTA select the Battlegrounder product then press Product settings. Uncheck all boxes except for the battleground you wish to queue for, in this case EotS. Only check the box in the queue column. Also I like lowering the Distance Search Target to something just outside my max pull distance, like 40 yards. But that is unnecessary, it just prevents you from chasing targets which are ridiculously far away. Press save and close.

I have found using a profile in EotS is obvious bot. The map is too small and there are too few players in the battleground. Without a profile wrobot decides which tower the player will go to, it may or may not be the same location every time. If your character reaches a tower, it will camp there. Camping a tower is not suspicious because it appears you are there to defend or in some cases capture. Which is exactly what real players do. A profile will not pause at an empty tower it will just keep on following its path looking all suspicious and shit.

  4. i think the music and page transitions make the whole site seem like a gimmick.  you want people to give give you their money, go with a more traditional professional design.  as soon as the music started i thought i was on myspace.  if you want to design your own site check out http://twitter.github.io/bootstrap/.

i know you really like playingnaked, but i would try to get a .com.

  5. i use heirloom gear.  but you can use addons to auto equip better gear as you level and loot greens.  before heirloom gear was a thing, i would myself (or have friends) run my alt through dungeons and collect all the gear from bosses.  your main 90 should be able to solo well into wrath level dungeons.

so a lot of times my alt would have gear sitting in the back and as i leveled and was able to use gear make a trip to the city.. train (back when you had to train on even levels) and gear up.

  6. hey dude.  check out my profile for Temple of Kotmogu in the battlegrounds download section.  i used it exclusively this past weekend for cta and it's a solid profile.  although, i havent tested it with ally, but it should not matter because of the path is not faction specific.

i have mostly been doing tok, av, and ab.  i have found some battlegrounds work best without a profile.  like av and ab, it's not as repetitive and obvious as a profile since it uses landmarks.  when wrobot goes to Farm and stops and waits, it looks like i am there to help defend.  i bet the no profile would be best for gilneas as well.  i also like to set my target distance lower to like 40 yards.  i only try and fight people who are relatively close.

I havent done any silvershard mines yet.  the best profile there would just make it a big circle around the center area where the carts spawn.  that way wrobot would not follow the same path to some mine capture point where no one or no cart is.  super sketch.

strand of the ancients could be a little sketch because of the opening of the doors as your team progresses.  wrobot could get stuck a lot trying to follow a profile through an unopened door.  wrobot is retarded when it comes to the opening of doors and teleporters mechanic.  if the door is open, wrobot will still use the teleporter to get "through" the door.  for that reason i would avoid any battlegrounds that use them.

yes, to record a profile it is very similar to a grinding profile.

  7. After I read your post I started testing EotS to see what my player did. First I created an empty profile for EotS. This forces wrobot to travel to landmark areas (the towers). In the product settings I do not have a check in the free mode box. My player had no problems traveling around the battleground. I recommend you make a new profile with no waypoints in it.

If that doesn't fix your issue. You may be experiencing some type of lag, where wrobot is trying to navigate to a point, but due to lag it runs through, and tries to run back. Also, try running the wrobot updater to ensue you are up to date.<br />

    Edit

After posting this I put a check in the free mode box in the product settings area for EotS. &amp;nbsp; My player began to run around all weird similar to what you described.

  8. You can add the mage table spell to the bottom spell of your fight class.

    Conjure Refreshment Table

In the spell settings box (top right box in the fightclass editor). Set For Friends (party) to True, Combat only to False, and Cast if mounted to True. The cast if mounted is really your choice and depends on the battlegrounds you run. If you're doing Alterac Valley, there is no need since you start in an unmountable area.

In the spell conditions add the following:

    • Target Distance: Type - Smaller, Value - 10
    • Hostile Unit Near: Number - 0, Radius - 500, Type - Egal
    • In Battleground: Value - True
    • Me In Combat: Value - False
    • Me In Move: Value - False
    • Target In Move: Value - False

I haven't tested this but the general idea is wrobot will target a friendly player. if that player is within 10 yards from you, there are 0 enemies within 500 yards, you're in a battleground, you are not in combat, you are not moving, and your target is not moving... You will cast the mage table.

These conditions will mostly only be true at the start of the battleground. There could be other times the conditions are true. You could make the parameters more strict or lenient. If you are casting mage table too much, drop the target distance condition to 5 or 3.

Again, I haven't tested this so you may want to watch it for awhile and see how it reacts.

  9. I am not familiar with that scenario.  Are the mobs at full health the same type of mob that is already in combat?  If not, you could remove the Target ID from your profile for the mobs with full health.  Or is it possible you could make a smaller profile closer to the mobs that are in combat?

If the smaller profile doesn't work... There is an island in the southwest side of the Dread Wastes with the bug people mobs, I believe they also give Black Prince rep.  They drop Dread Shards, so it's great for Klaxxi rep as well.  The only time I have ever seen anyone else there are on random days when the Klaxxi daily quest sends them there.

  10. Soloing dungeons is the safest way to bot.  No one is around to report you.

You could solo bot low level dungeons where the fights are just tank and spank style.  Molten Core is soloable, you could make a profile that could clear the entire zone on it's own.  Great for making gold with potential pet drops and vendor trash.  The level 30 Scarlet Monastery would be great for making gold from the Silk Cloth drops. The only thing you would have to do is zone in and press start.

I would like to see a dungeon product where wrobot would zone in and out and reset dungeons and difficulties.  But until that happens you have to reset and zone in manually.

  11. And for fps it is the pause time when you have launched a spell or when wrobot has finish to read spells list. The time is in ms, is 1000/fps = pauseTime.

For a fps of 30 the time of pause is 1000/30 = 33 ms

Thanks for your reply.  I am trying to understand.  So from your example (1000/30fps), wrobot will pause 33ms before casting the next spell?  If this is true, then the higher the fps the shorter the pause will be.  This could result in missed casts or trying to cast too much.  So the ideal fps would be 1000/fps = global cooldown?

  12. welcome to the forums.

so there are two things you will need.  you will need a fight class, this is a set of instructions to tell wrobot what spells to use for your character and talent spec.  you can find some fight classes here.  if a fight class for your class and spec does not exist, you can create one, or request someone make one here.

the next thing you will need is a profile.  depending on the product you are using (grinder, gatherer, etc.)  a profile is a set of waypoints wrobot follows to move your character through the world (of warcraft).  the profile may also contain information as to what to attack and what to not attack along the way.  wrobot.eues with some profiles.  you can also create your own or find user created profiles here.

in the tutorials section of the forums you will find guides for creating your own fight classes and profiles.

  13. so with the update yesterday, i noticed the frames per second option in the fight class editor.  what is the ideal fps for melee vs caster?  I also noticed wrobot is trying to cast the same spell 3 or 4 times before it is actually successful and moves to the next spell, which it tries to cast three or four times.  not sure if i am skipping spells, but the log is cluttered with multiple casts of the same spell.

  14. for autoattack, in your wow settings disable it.

Now for the way you want to attack, you have to set it in its priority properly and it will do as you say and according to the conditions you can set ( mostly lua there )

Thanks for your reply!  You led me to try some different conditions, specifically the lua scripts.  Sadly I am unable to figure it out.

The Stop Auto Attack option in the interface menu is only for switching targets, and does not affect the current target.  The priority of the spells should be:  Shadowstep, Ambush, Sinister Strike.  I am a little unclear what happens when wrobot casts a spell from the priority list,  When Shadowstep is successful, does wrobot begin checking spell conditions from the top of the list again?  or does it continue checking conditions from the last good spell cast?  If it started at the top then the correct priority order would be Ambush, Sinister Strike, Shadowstep.  I haven't tested this second order (at work and just thought of it).

I tried adding lua scripts to the conditions and also tried adding lua scripts as spells.  The lua scripts as spells would cause the autoattack to stop, but wrobot would immediately reengage the auto attack.  I believe wrobot simulates a user right clicking to select targets, this would make the player run to the target and start auto attacking.  because of the way wrobot targets is it even possible to stop auto attacking permanently?  if i wanted to stealth shadowstep behind a target and just stand there and not attack but with the target selected, is that possible?

  15. So a big problem I have seen with my rogue and ambush is wrobot starts auto attacking too soon.  Specifically I shadowstep and before ambush can be cast my toon has already started attacking, breaking stealth and turning the mob to face me.

The only sure fire way I have found to get ambush to cast is via the talent where casting ambush/cheap shot/garrote from a distance automatically shadowstep your toon behind the mob.

Because of the weird auto attacking I usully just let wrobot shadowstep and attack without using the "from stealth" spells.  Shadowstep is nice in case your rogue gets stuck while trying to path to the mob.

  16. if you are wanting to play the auction house buying and selling game.  download the legit addons called market watch and auctionator.

scan the ah with market watch for a few weeks and it will show you trend data for items you follow.  since i have market watcher i know which days of the week ghost iron ore sells the highest and which days it sells the lowest.

i use a custom gatherer profile that files around the entire pandaria continent 24/7 mining ore.  i only sell ores when the market is high.  even if i didn't bot to get ores, i could be totally legit and buy all the ghost iron ore low.  i know the price will rise in a couple days and sell high.  you can do this consistently every day with as many of the gathering items you can manage and have storage for.

the real problem is i am lazy, and this all requires effort.

does anyone know places to grind for high gold output solely from looting gold and vendoring trash?  the one time drop of big selling items is great but not consistent enough to be ruled as a way to make lots of gold.  i just want to start the bot and only stop it to occasionally mail gold to my main.

  17. I am a very new user to wrobot, but I am a long time bot user in warcraft.  In my opinion the more life like a bot can be the more impressive it is.  Every bot I have ever used was too perfect and followed obvious rules.  After going from 1-600 in both herbalism and mining with wrobot, here are some ways I think the gathering ai can be improved:

    1. Do not land directly on top of the node.  Human players typically land next to the node then farm, they certainly do not land on top of the node every single time.  It would be more realistic if wrobot landed say 5-10 yards from the node and ran up next to the node to farm it.  This could potentially lead to pathing issues if the node is on a hilltop or if there is a tree or something in the path.  In the case of getting stuck fly and land on top of the node.
    2. If a mob attacks the player before the node has successfully been farmed, wrobot will fight/kill the mob.  When the mob has been killed wrobot mounts, immediately dismounts and begins to farm the node again.  This is silly no human player would do this.  When the mob is killed wrobot should immediately farm the node and not mount until the farm is complete.
    3. When straying from the flight path to farm a node, do not return to the last known point on the flight path before continuing to follow flight path.  Let me explain:  Currently wrobot follows a set of way points defined by the user.  When wrobot detects a node to farm, it strays from the user defined points and farms the node.  when the farm is successful, wrobot returns to its last known user defined point and continues on its path.  in my opinion this appears very calculated, not human-like.  I think a fix for this would be, instead of returning to the last known point, skip x amount of points ahead to return to the path.  In theory wrobot would not backtrack then continue on its path...  It would instead always be traveling forward around its path.
    4. I have found if there are 2 or more nodes to farm in very close vicinity of each other, wrobot will farm one node, mount and fly to the next node only a few yards away.  wrobot should instead not mount, but just run to the next node as long as it is within x yards from current location otherwise mount.

I have played very little with the fight classes on a training dummy.  I am very impressed thus far with the conditions.  Although as a rogue I would like to see a condition "if behind target".  Also it would be cool, if the target has a buff (like stunned or sapped) wrobot will move the player behind the target.  You guys have done a fine job designing this program.  If you ever implement automated questing I would be happy to test and build profiles from 1-90.

    Edit because im a noob...

found this topic about checking for behind target..    going t otry it when i get home...  made me start thinking there are some other conditions for combat that may be possible already if not would be neat to add for human like actions.

    1. a universal wrobot spell to move player behind target if condition is met.  example:  some mobs cast spells where the player must run behind the target to avoid damage or to attack successfully.  so a universal wrobot spell for move behind target would be rad.  also something very similar except to move away from the target for x amount of yards.  if condition is met, turn 90 degrees right and strafe right x amount of yards and stop until condition is not met then resume combat.  again some mobs cast an aoe the player should move out of to avoid massive damage.
