  1. Today I got banned on Outland, and i can't seem to get how they got me this time.

I had 6 bots total, running on 3 different IP Addresses (2 proxy and 1 real IP). Let's call them John, Pepe, Mark, JennaJameson, TrumpJr and Fourteen.

All the proxies are hosted on some cheap VPS of mine, all of them from the same provider, but hosted in different cities.

John and Pepe use Proxy1, keep alternating every 2 hour without ever stopping (they bot 12h/day in total). They are still going strong. They are druids.

Mark and JennaJameson don't use any proxy (so REAL IP). They were botting with the usual scheme 2hrs each. They both ended up banned. They were warriors.

TrumpJr and Fourteen use Proxy2, same botting scheme as always(2hrs each). They both ended up banned. They were warriors.

Mark is NEVER online when JennaJameson is, TrumpJr is NEVER online when Fourteen is.

Real IP and Proxy2 got IP BAN aswell(given reason was: BOT Network), while bots on Proxy1 are still going strong, and Proxy1 is not affected by any IP Ban ofcourse.

Proxy2 and REAL IP don't look anything similar.

What could possibly link all the banned accounts? It can't be Hardware ID, otherwise John and Pepe would be banned aswell. It can't be IP address, otherwise they would not catch bots running on different IPs.

  2. Hi!

i'm writing a plugin and I'm trying to figure out how I can stop ANYTHING my bot is doing and run some code when i certain condition is met.

So let's say: while the bot is grinding,  if a certain item was looted then stop grinding and go to a specific place into the map and use it. After that get back to grinding.

The whole "go to a specific place into the map and use it" part is already figured out, i miss the rest. Any idea?

  3. Hello,

on 9 november 6/14 bots were banned on warmane Outland. No big deal, it can happen.

I replaced all the dead toons and started botting again. After a few hours, all of my 14 bots got banned.

They were running on separated proxies (private ones, hosted on some VPS). Every proxy runs 3 bots, so that if one of them gets caught, at worst i lose 3 chars (that was my plan atleast).

They got banned almost all together. All of them were feral druids, grinding in different locations in the Outlands. They were farming about 15hrs a day (never at nights).

Now the thing is: it can't be an IP ban, but somehow they manage to get all of them all together! What could be the link between them? I used to send the farmed golds to a single char that is still alive.

The first ban on 9 november involved random chars running from different proxyes, so that wasn't an IP ban either.

I don't really know what i should change in order to avoid this to happen again. Does anyone have any clue to give me?

  4. Hello, atm i'm running 10 bot on a TBC server. When i start everything, my total cpu usage is about 50-60%, then after a few hours it gets to 100%, and bots start to run choppy.

    Fps are limited to 20.

I disabled all the plugins almost without any improvement.

I'm using a custom class created by myself with the editor.

Each Wow takes about 3-4% cpu. Each Wrobot takes about 6-7%cpu.

I'm using a Xeon E5-1620 v2 CPU. Is there something i can do to improve cpu usage?

iv been on warmane/molten/i forgot the one before that if u fallow private servers and how they merg and split alll that fun

i cant count my bans alot only way molten detects is reports and must confirm the report higher pop higher odds

they defintaly track accounts but only for so long if they keep active tabs well one of my bot accounts has a strike on it for botting use to be 2 strike rule 30/perma

if they do track ip or accounts for to long i woulda been baned alot more ... the players tho they might flag u and report u every time u log on tell u are baned

    this isent uncommon at all

the way i do it is everything is my own i start with a blank bot and build as i go ... its suspect when u see 3 people farming the same spot in a circle

bot in remote locations ... areas voted bye players to be the worst to level in are good

and once at end game content be extra carful if u bot in pvp just flyhack and teleport around ull be banned ether way ... if u think ur team wont spot a bot and report it ur crazzy pvpers hate bots more than people who farm nodes u mention pqr to a pvper and hell flip they will hunt u down and report u tell the end of time once ur spoted

    Dude..the f*ck did i just read?
It was really tought to interpret your post.

@Kekashi: even if it's safe now, nobody can't guarantee that they will start flagging by IP. Be careful with accounts you wouldn't be ok to lose.

    thats not true :)

There is a way around everything I believe! this is an amazing bot and by far its the best I have ever used.

I am already managing pet feeding and handling most of the stuff without a problem. I use most of my spells perfectly with the bot

I agree that there's a way around almost everything :)

I did manage to bot decently with my hunter, i just gave up cause it was more convenient to do it with other classes (less issues).

  7. Hello Arcangelo,

About the "Fearie Fire (Feral)" casting issue i used a workaround, it's lame but gets the job done:  i placed the spell Fearie Fire (Feral) into the 1st position of the 3rd actionbar and then i call RunMacroText("/click MultiBarRightButton1") from the custom class as lua code.

Using the same principle you could stop attacking by using running the macro text "/stopattack" (not sure if it works on vanilla).

  8. Back into the days i pulled out about 10k euros /year from Wow, farming my own golds and selling them to people from my country. I had an online shop based on a facebook page, with even reviews and advertisement :)
I gave up farming after getting banhammered several times in a row. So i started buying my golds from russians, and selling them to italians from double the price. Then the playerbase shrunk to the point that the demand was too low to bear the risk, i got banhammered once again after moving a massive amount of russian golds out of the gbank, and decided to give up. All in all i pulled money out of thin air for years, i'm still in profit :)

Yep, that train already passed i think.
