  1. Creative - "most come with no profiles" - I'm sorry but this simply isn't true.  Honor buddy includes free profiles for questing, 1-90, for example.  You are just plain, lying.

I have created a number of questing profiles (Horde only so far) but I'm not happy to share yet because they're not perfect and, well - think about it for a second, why should I?  I have contributed more uploads than anyone else at all (apart from Ohren perhaps, not counted the exact numbers, just plucking them out of my baby ass you could say but pretty sure I'm not far off) - for no reason.  Anyway, once I am happy with them I may chuck them online, along with a whole bunch of stuff I keep getting PM'd about by people.

    Honesty Time

Admins/Forum Mods - please try posting less and enjoying the sound of your own voices, it's getting a little tedious to say the least - everyone likes assistance, nobody likes posturing.  More from Droidz, less from others would be very welcome.  Your post count means nothing to anyone but you (this entire thread only includes 4 posts from the community - you make up all the rest) -- and this thread is not alone.  I understand you need to balance "empty = dead" vs "lots of posts = activity" but there's a limit.  Ohren's posts actually contribute and I enjoy reading them (very much like when Greg Street [Ghostcrawler] joined Blizzard) - others, well, less so.

You should consider making Ohren the face of your forums BTW because he's clearly, by a metric mile, who you need front of house to draw in additional clients.  It's a bit like inviting Hannibal Lecter, Aileen Wuornos and Mahatma Ghandi to a job interview and then asking punters to vote for their favorite.  Let's see, who shall we choose....[Droidz excluded here, I think we know who the 3 people I am comparing are].....both of whom will attack me vehemently now.  Meh.

I find myself logging on less and less these days....which may suit you fine when you attack this slightly drunken post (Red wine at an Italian restaurant with your partner FTW!), but, here's a sobering fact, you need girls like me if your bots (WR and TNB) are going to thrive....which I would like to see them do.

  2. I have created the next series to the ones you have already downloaded that i created previously, I'll upload them on the weekend most likely, just forgot, sorry, have created a LOT of profiles and just don't get around to uploading them all...

    • Download the profiles, ensure they are in C:\WRobot\Profiles\Grinder\Horde\Skinning (replace this path with your correct path).
    • Start WOW, log onto the character you want to skin on and get to the appropriate area (skinning priofile area)
    • Start WRobot
    • From WRobot Drop Down Menu select "Grinding"
    • From the drop down box, pick the skinning profile you want to run
    • Click the big Start/Play button

    Enjoy.

  3. Not sure it's working, my character seems to keep riding through "red" mobs on his way to yellow mobs until he gets there and has multiple mobs on him still.....for example, level 88 Warlock, riding through Jade Forest doing the JF grind profile, aims for a yellow Wasp and hits 2 x Elite snakes on the way, doesn't stop, just rides through them and grabs aggro from them all.

  4. Loving the recent "Stop WRobot After XXX Deaths" - no more grinding, dying in a horrible area, then bot keeps resing/dying forever while gear eventually turns red and continues dying instantly forever until time runs out!

It was really quite frustrating to leave your bot for 4 hours only to return and see you had died after ½ hour because it ran into an elite or some horrible multi-mob area and had just kept doing that forever while your gear completely broke and 360 mins passed where you had gained the princely sum of bugger all XP. I know we could edit the grinding profile to add a blacklist radius to a particular area but that's a PITA sometimes too because it doesn't account for wandering Elites, for example.

Thanks Droidz, this is a very, very useful update :)

  5. I don't think the profiles that come with the bot have repair and sell npcs added in. You can add them yourself thats what I did.

Correct however it's the timing that I'm curious about.  When, exactly, does it decide to repair and vendor?  It would be nice to have a feature something along the lines of "Vendor when XXX bag slots left free" and "Repair when any item <20% durability" - for example.

  6. I STRONGLY recommend just using WRotation in BG's unless you have a laissez-faire attitude towards your account, or are watching the screen frequently - frankly, any high traffic area should always be supervised.

That's not to say WR is not reliable, actually it is remarkably so, but there are times where people can pull/push you off areas and it, like any automated program, can get a bit confused and that's when people notice.

WRotation allows you to gain the benefit of not having to smash 1,2,3 all the time whilst maintaining a human, fluid, control appearance on your character.

I have used the valley of the four winds turtle killing profile and it took me only 2 days on my rogue

    Glad it helped :)

The only thing I would recommend about this profile is that i created it in a very small, confined space. It is best not to use it for too long as it's a bit obvious to others that come along and see you there, 4 hours later, killing turtles.

Like Ohren, I am extremely protective of my very old main account and strongly suggest that if you are using this on your main then you stick to 2 hour cycles of this profile as a maximum given it's slightly more obvious nature. Similarly on my Yeti profile which I recommend you download and try for your next levels because that's also confined to a single, small, cave.

I also created a fairly basic Prot Paladin Fight Class early on which i uploaded here but since then I have refined it a lot, shout me on PM if you want an updated version (I'll get around to uploading all the things I have created at some point).

    Welcome to the community.

  8. Yeah, I understand the concept of making one large profile Loki, thanks for the pointer though, I suppose I should have made it more of a suggestion than a question.  For lower levels, having a profile queue would be very welcome...for higher levels, less necessary.

  9. Is there any way of queuing grinding profiles that anyone knows of?

It would be great to do something like :-

    • Level 1-5 - Grinding Profile 1
    • Level 6-10 - Grinding Profile 2
    • Level 10-20 - Grinding Profile 3

    Create queue - 1,2,3.

So it will do profile 1 then when get to level 6 it moves on to the next profile, etc etc.

  10. Anyone know how to get it so melee fight classes don't mount up and ride all the way up to 5yds away from a mob before starting to fight?

I want to dismount further away from a mob (say, 25yds) and leap or charge in, for example. If I change the distance in the fight class settings to 25yds it does it but screws up the fight class, if I set it back to 5yds it will ride right up to 5yds away from the mob before engaging in the rotation.

these two things being decoupled from each other would be awesome but it seems like both things are controlled by that single setting.

This is frustrating for Warriors/Rogues/Death Knights and Feral Druids (only classes i have tried it on so far, may be others)so would be really helpful to find a way around it.

    Anyone?

  11. I can't get this to work, for some reason it keeps casting Shred even though the target is facing me. Has anything changed since this post?

I removed it and did the log to show it worked fine without then added it in and did the log so you could see the constant repetitive attempts towards the end there.

It's almost like it checks when it initially tries and if it's successful then all is good - but if it fails it keeps on trying to shred even though the mob has now turned to face you.

    Log attached.

    Thoughts?

  12. On a similar note, I've successfully created an STV Sunday Fishing Competition profile and used it quite a bit.  I have come 1st, 2nd and 3rd many times now on many toons, getting everything I need - so don't give up on using WRobot for fishing profiles/competitions, it can be incredibly useful :)

BTW, if anyone wants my STV profile, fee free to shout - I'll try to upload it if I remember later when I finish work.
