How to make an link used by "Packages Manager"

Featured Replies

Before all, "Packages Manager" is used for auto installing/updating or uninstalling an profile, product or others bot files. The objectif is to install additional files in the bot easy for user.

How to make link:

"Packages Manager" works only with zip file.

"Packages Manager" extract zip at the bot root folder, if you want adding an gatherer profile you need to add in your zip the folders "\Profiles\Gatherer\" and put your profile in the folder.

Url type:

wrobot:<UrlToMyFile.zip> <Packet Name> <My Name> <Active Auto Update>
Sample with forum bbcode (without auto update):
[WRP="Fisher bot profile sample"]wrobot.eu/index.php?app=core&module=attach&section=attach&attach_id=3[/WRP]
(url whitout http://)
Sample with forum bbcode (with auto update):
[WRPA="Fisher bot profile sample with auto update"]wrobot.eu/index.php?app=core&module=attach&section=attach&attach_id=3[/WRPA]
(url whitout http://)
Try:

" target="_blank" title="Fisher bot profile sample">Fisher bot profile sample

Fisherbot-Sample-Profile.zip

to expand on this just a little, since our profiles forum has just opened,

First your file must be in a zip extension, that doesnt mean rar it and rename it either, make sure its a zip archive.

Add your xml to 'fake folders' to create the proper file tree for extraction

example-  10-16 Northern Barrons.twizt3dkitty.xml  I place this folder on my desktop, I create a new folder on my desktop and call is Profiles, create a new folder inside that and call it Grinder, from there you can do what you want, so i could make \Profiles\Grinder\Twizt3dkitty\10-16 Northern Barrons.twizt3dkitty.xml or I could put it in \Profiles\Grinder\Horde\1-60\.

Zip up your file structure.

Upload to website - http://wrobot.eu/files/category/4-profiles/

Link in forum.

wrobot:<UrlToMyFile.zip> <Packet Name> <My Name> <Active Auto Update>

     example:  wrobot:<http://wrobot.eu/files/download/43-10-16-northern-barrons-horde-twizt3dkitty/><10-16 Northern Barrons><Twizt3dkitty><False>

Please note that if you submit a newer version of your profile, the download location will break unless you delete the previous version, example,  I just updated my 10-16 profile to v1.1 to support the package manager, and the download button then changed to a folder that listed v1.0 and v1.1 to download, I had to delete 1.0 for the auto installer to work correctly.  You can just add the full path with .zip if you like, but for the auto update to work (if you wish it to)  your url must be static, and never change.  So be sure to delete your previous versions.

Yes you can add html or txt file

Just be aware that unless the user navagates to the profile directory manually, this txt or html will not open automatically or be shown through the wrobot interface.
