Will WRobot Support 64-bit WoW?

Featured Replies

Hi! Is support for the 64-bit version of WoW planned for WRobot? One of the most popular WoW private servers is planning to switch to the 64-bit version of the game.

The server is https://sirus.su.

They are planning to move all of their realms to a 64-bit client. The project is based on Wrath of the Lich King 3.3.5 content, but they are developing a new client based on version 5.4.8 (build 18414), with support for 64-bit architecture and DirectX 11.

A large part of the Russian WoW botting community plays on this server, so WRobot support for the new client would be very valuable to many players.

Here is an excerpt from their official announcement:

"There are stories we want to return to. Our first journey through Northrend, the battles at the Wrathgate, raids with friends, and the long-awaited victory over the Lich King - for many players, Wrath of the Lich King was a truly special chapter of World of Warcraft.

We want to continue this story and give it more room to grow. That is why we are working on bringing WotLK 3.3.5 to a new client. This is a major step forward for the project: a new technical foundation, improved graphics, and features that will allow us to go beyond the usual boundaries.

Wrath of the Lich King remains at the heart of our world: its atmosphere, familiar locations, dungeons, and raids. Moving to a newer client opens the door to the next stage of the project's development, providing a wider range of tools for creating new content and improving the gaming experience.

The technical side of the game is an important part of this transition. The new client will bring support for 64-bit architecture and DirectX 11, along with greater opportunities to make use of modern computer hardware.

One of the major new features will be the Monk class.

There is still a lot of work to do. We are not simply porting WotLK 3.3.5 to a new client - we are also porting more than 10 years of custom content and modifications, which is an entirely different challenge."

This is why I wanted to ask whether WRobot might support this type of client in the future. Thank you!
