Going into idle mode

Hi

 

Every 10-15mins my character suddenly goes into idle mode even if i'm being attacked, often with the back turned. The result of this is that my character dies. Have any of you had  this problem before?

 

I have tried various fight classes and grinding spots. I have no addons on. Using 32bit mode and directx9. Everything with admin rights.

Hello Ricx and welcome to the forums! Kinda sucks that it's about an issue though!

 

What class are you playing? I've only ever had this issue on my druid. Also, could you upload the log and tell me your settings for...

 

Can attack units already in a fight

Don't start fight

Ignore fight if in ground mount

I will upload the last log. I only have "Ignore fight if in ground mount" checked. Is there any additional settings for these options?

I'm just on break from work, so I can't really help that much right now (hopefully Droidz will see this soon). I can't personally tell from the log why it isn't fighting. And your settings seem correct. I'll look into it further on my lunch break though.

Thanks for the reply, but that didn't help. My character still just idle while being attacked sometimes :/

 

Anything else I can try to solve this?

exit out of the bot, delete all logs. Start bot up and let it do what it has been doing.

 

Then take the new log file and upload it here in its original form.

 

We will take a look to see if something weird is happening.

I had the same problem but with archaeology,

Everything works fine tho but if i am in pandaria and i use archaeology bot it goes Bot > Idle.

I tried everything i could think of, restaring pc & bot.

Also tried to reinstall it.

It suddenly came after i solved some item with rchaeology.

Do you know what else it could be?

In your log you have: Please select an Fly Mount in general settings

 

When you have correctly settings fly mount you have again this problem?

It also has the abyssal sea horse as swiming mount. Remove this please since its zone bound.

With log file I can understand that you changed your character in game (you must redémarer wrobot when you change character).
