stderr 0
Hi folks, I'm using v1.8.3 build 28897 on 3.3.5a (12340). Since yesterday i get the message that the bot version missmatches version of WoW. I followed the hints in Repair/Install WRobot and ended in complete reinstall of the Bot. The logfile is vague: [D] 11:56:57 - [Info] Log file created: 17 Nov 2017 11H56.log.html [D] 11:56:57 - [Info] WRobot Version: 1.8.3 (28897) for wow: 3.3.5a_12340 [D] 11:56:57 - [Info] Offical website: https://wrobot.eu/ [D] 11:56:57 - [Info] Operating System Details: Microsoft Windows NT 6.1.7601 Service Pack 1 [D] 11:56:57 - [Info] Lang: doesn't play a role (correct me if I'm wrong) [F] 11:56:57 - [Memory] D3D9 found: 8B FF 55 8B EC 6A FF 68 FC AD [F] 11:56:57 - [Memory] D3D11 found: 8B FF 55 8B EC 83 E4 F8 83 EC [D] 11:56:57 - [Memory] D3D9 used Any other tips besides Repair/Install WRobot? Edit: corrected Title
Droidz 2733
Hello, try to download another wow client
stderr 0
Is the bot looking at the WoW.exe version or the datafiles? The reason I'm asking is that I don't want to download the whole package (~17GB) but if I redownload only the Client files without data-Directory I can save a lot of time ;)
Droidz 2733
WRobot use only Wow.exe
stderr 0
Ok. Got a clean 3.3.5a WoW.exe and started a virgin install of the Bot. as I mentioned above i only downloaded the files of the root of the WoW-Folder Same behaviour :(
stderr 0
Ok ... now it's going to be weird! After I noticed that a fresh WoW version in another folder didn't work, I moved the data directory back. Because I can create a new profile even with an incorrect version I started the bot again.... and behold: it works (again?!) Nothing was changed ... nether the Bot nor the WoW.exe
