lol. where did you hear that from? xD

When I read all this turmoil going on around the release of the official classic warcraft such hints slipped in some sources. And the closing of the lightshope project was also associated with the release of the classic. Just as I remember, it was one of the leaders of the lighthope who met with a representative from Blizzard even before the official announcement.
I also want to emphasize once again that I do not claim that it is 100% true, I just said that I had heard about it.

At this point in time it is pretty obvious (though not confirmed) that Northdale Staff is able to get either your hardware id or your mac adress to track down all bots running on the same machine. Some people report that using VMs helps to hide the other bots, so you only loose all accounts inside the VM.

They also seem to log these datas and then can return to them at a later date to mass bann all accounts that have been logged in from a certain pc.

Btw i think what they are doing is highly illegal and hurts a few data privacy laws. I am no lawyer though. Could be wrong.

Previously, this was not. bans were only on reports. Some received mass bans only if they did not use a proxy or VPN. What is happening now on Northdale is very similar to what was on the official servers. However, I do not think that this is an equipment identifier because there were others on these machines and they are now and everything is fine with them. More similar to the fact that the lighthope team got their hands on tools for analyzing the behavior of the characters on the server side. I heard that lightshoop developers are actively involved in the development of the official classic server and I think that this is somehow connected

  3. Many times I asked this question, including the Droidz. But no one answered the options to fix it. In theory, you need to write a plugin that will turn off the standard algorithm of running to the corpse after death and activate a script that will make it run to the entrance to the dungeon.

But I did not read the documentation and I do not know if there is a technical possibility to implement it using the plug-in. It would be much easier to add in the bot one tick for the quest bot that sounds like "it's a dungeon". Which will disable the standard algorithm and then the resurrection will only be managed by your profile. Then it's already a few simple conditions and it's done

I can't seem to get this to work. Tried reinstalling WoW, allowing things through firewall, testing my authentication to the proxy, and using an entirely separate WoW installation from the directory I normally use. Not sure what else to do at this point. Note that WoW launches fine when not routed through proxifier.

Try this for the browser. Write will work in the browser or not

And remove the quotes from the name of the application, if you have written them yourself

I have never had problems with that on either retail or private servers, but retail botting is kinda dead now, and it wouldn't be needed for private servers at least as far as i know

The team of the former Elysium collaborates with Blizzard to open the official vanilla. Nobody can know what protection methods are used on private servers now and what will be used tomorrow.
And the retail botting did not die. Only a few popular bots died. Pay attention to the cost and amount of gold in stores. Something changed after "the botting died"? No. In closed communities, things are still much more active than they were before. Public bots are only the tip of the iceberg.
Those who have long joined the botting and still botting retail, never neglected those things, one of which I mentioned above. It takes 5 minutes, but you get the confidence that you are not fail at least with this

i would still raise the price to limit new users

    This is a dangerous practice.

Because new users need absolutely any project and deliberately cut them badly wrong.  Especially in a situation where most of the community has already left the project. Also, lack of interest among new users usually generates other projects like it was with macrolab after the price policy change. I will buy in any case no matter how unpleasant it is to pay much more. But very many will refuse and you will lose more profit

  7. Hello Droidz
Very prickly prices now for private servers. This is to compensate for the losses from closing off servers as I understand it? So far, I do not see any major changes in 2.0.

Not all abused the unlimited. For example, for those who used only 10 sessions, the price increased almost fourfold compared to a no-limit. Why are not these users considered? And anyway, what do you personally put in the concept of "no limit"? Even 100 simultaneous sessions are quite fair if you call it "unlimited." So the phrase "abuse" in this case is not entirely correct as it seems to me and it deserves another explanation at least

  8. I apologize for the bad English I use Google translation
Many asked the question how to properly bind the proxy to the WoW client and I decided to write a small guide to answer all at once. Immediately make a reservation that I do not know whether this will also work for official servers, because long ago not botting them. But this will definitely work for earlier versions.
To bind a proxy server to a specific application, you need a special soft. There are several options, but I prefer the Proxyfier, because some others, if they can not connect to any particular hosts, will simply run them through your static ip address.
So we need the following tools:
    Proxyfier
    LinkShellExtention

First of all, you need to create several copies of the warcraft.

    3.png.d65b8aa9e08adf8ff0e50b85577614b9.png

You can simply copy the client several times to separate folders. But who uses only SSD and wants to save space on the hard drive will use the LinkShellExtension to create symbolic links to the massive client data. So, we install all the necessary software and start

We copy all the folders and files (without "data") of the wow client to our newly created folder for the bot

    3.png.5590cfc7dc6831179271031cd88d4199.png 4.png.b682df93027ab5c8c2e1024f06e7ee65.png

Right-click on the "Data" and choose Pick Link Source from the drop-down menu. Then go to the new folder, click on the empty space and choose Symbolic Link

The result should look like this

    7.png.739039f28420e9044612dbecbd9f16e8.png

Measuring the amount of memory used, we get only about 30 MB and it's absolutely working client

    8.png.507158950814eb2e3e5d8894adf6a32a.png

You might have noticed that in the client folder for the bot, the client launch file is called WoW1
You must do the same for each directory with the bot. That is, if you have 5 clients proxy, you must name the startup files accordingly: WoW1.exe, WoW2.exe, WoW3.exe, WoW4.exe, WoW5.exe and so on. Otherwise, no matter how many directories you create, each of them will work on the same proxy as the process will be called the same.

Now you can add your proxy to the Proxyfier. I will not separately describe how to do this since it should be clear. Then go to the proxification rule and make a binding as shown in the screenshot

    10.png.eb360b6c02e90ed2277a1f6eb089fdcf.png

In the application field, specify the path to the warcraft client in which the specific bot will work. Also this proxy is attached to the browser. I highly recommend registering the account through the proxy on which it will work in the future. But do not forget to untie the browser after registration so that there are no more intersections. In the action field, you must select the desired IP address.

    And this is the result

    9.png.4b3b15dea4ea81cbcf157f189a3c2363.png

In conclsion, even if the clients are proxy correctly, the first thing you need to pay attention to is the quality of the proxy. It is most important

Well from my limited knowledge of networking, it's next to impossible to actually tell if someones on a VPN so I'm sure they just investigate accounts with IPs constantly switching. I'm thinking once the hype dies down I'll just run accounts on the same VPN instance until it's at a manageable level. They also have anticheat but that's for fly and speedhacks, nothing to detect bots(and I don't think they can either). How long did your bots normally last for when leveling?

On kronos 2? I only started early in the morning when most sleep or work or studying.
So hype was not a very strong hindrance. And I never ran bots on vanilla for longer than 5-6 hours a day. They really do not have a tool to detect bots since blizzard. But on early versions of warcraft it's easy to be a report so never afk

Man I thought farming these private servers was over after the object exploiting was fixed, (haha what a complete joke in the first place!)

how is the account and gold market at the moment ?

The last month is very bad for LH
Accounts are very poorly sold, gold is a little better sold.
But I think it was due to the fact that the release of kronos was approaching and I think that it will resume as before
but at the moment better pump chars on kronos.

  11. Botting a lot when there was a kronos 2
A really high chance of a ban when in the first locations a lot of players
I used good proxies and no mass bans were. Only reports and GM
    But I used another bot
Prohibit a proxy is difficult if it is not defined as a proxy so do not worry about it if you use elite IPs

Hello, use quest type "follow path" and put lower search radius don't resolve this problem?

Solved the problem with "Reset" action
But there is still a problem with the resurrection if death is inside the dungeon.
There are several ways to implement this through various checks. But I encounter a trivial problem with the fact that in the event of death, not the code of the quester does not execute, but its main code, and therefore, in any case, first he tries to resurrect himself by running to the corpse and he does not care about all the conditions.
Perhaps there is a way to force a bot to execute code in the thread or check the condition instead of trying to resurrect in the usual way?

  13. Being in the instance at some point I want to turn off the patfinder and then turn it back on

Tried several options but does not work since there is no documentation for wManager

    wManager.wManagerSetting.CurrentSetting.PathFinder = false;

    wManager.wManagerSetting.CurrentSetting.UsePathFinder = false;

Found a problem here on the forum. It was a syntax error. It is necessary like this: UsePathsFinder
But this did not solve the main problem:
To move through the dungeon, I use a FollowPath. At the first pass, everything looks perfect and everything happens as I planned. But when the bot enters the next time in the dungeon, it starts from the last point of the first FollowPath. And in order to run along the short path the bot runs into the door that can not be opened until the final boss is alive. In total, the profile uses 3 followers, but only the first one works incorrectly. disabling the pathfinder solved the problem with the door but now the bot is trying to run to the last point "through the walls"

  14. I agree that i7 is the fastest processor anyway and I do not want to develop an eternal dispute about Intel and amd. This is really a universal processor, which is equally well suited for both games and workstations and makes the system as a whole as responsive as possible. But the gaming capabilities  i7 is not exactly what you need for mass botting because we do not chase the maximum fps in 4k, we also try to reduce the graphics settings as much as possible and we cut the fps intentionally (at least so do I). There is an opinion that multithreading is important for simultaneous work of many clients, especially when you are using virtualization. I just gave an example of two processors on which you can assemble a system for about the same money, but AMD has 4 more threads in this case and so far I have not seen reviews or tests indicating that i7 cofee is better than Ryzen in multithreading (Of course I mean Ryzen 7 1700 and and i7 8700 without overclocking because I think overclocking is not a very good idea for 24/7 work). If there are people who compared such processors in practice in this direction, I would like to hear their opinion.

    Sorry for bad english
