Out-of-party mode (power leveling)?

Featured Replies

Hi There guys,

Is there functionality similar to party mode, however, not being in a party?

Say for instance, I have a lvl 80 and I wish to power level a lvl 20, if i join party XP is reduced. Is there a way to have a lvl 80 outside party follow, combat and or heal those in the party or a single party member?

If it is not a feature, I think it would be an awesome feature :-) .

Kind regards,

Flippy

Maybe its something you are looking for... it is just an alpha version ;)

Put the dll into the Plugin folder and use the settings to set it up. (Follow range should be somethig around 30 as caster und maybe 5-10 for a melle)
SpellDistance is important now to set
Use WRotation and set "Manage character movement" to false.

I just test it with a boomkin(supporter) and a low melee

It has no mount support atm but this will come later.

Feedback and bugs are wellcome

Interesting!

How to ideally use this? Should the lowbie farm red mobs?

It depens at your leveling style. if you use it with more than one supporter it should be possible but never tried. I just used it for helping my low toon at quests.

Hm, I'm not getting it to fight. Just following.

Edit: Got it working somewhat.

I'm a caster with a melee support, not very good. The supporter kinda moves foward, back and fourth real fast.

Yeah i know has something todo with the range. i need to change the movement routine a bit.
Thats why i said its an alpha version i made it in around 15 min. ;)

i updated some parts of the plugin.
tested with melee and caster as supporter without any problems.
Mount support implemented.
make sure you disable the movement of wrotation and set the spelldistance!

Can you release the source code so we can take a look at it and test it for ourself?

Thanks

The Dropbox download links no longer work.

Does anyone know of an updated version or plugin that can do this? I want to follow a non-party member and assist their target. Possibly heal them too.

The Party mode will follow, but not assist. I don't mind creating an alternate FighClass if i need to.
