Fight Class Paladin Issues - Melee Range

I have tried several fight classes and made several attempts to create my own. However I am running into the same issues. 

 

When fighting neutral mobs (yellow), Auto Attack is initiated before my character walks within melee combat range. Once my character arrives to target, auto attack is DISENGAGED and no combat is engaged. NPC is black listed and character moves on.

 

What condition would help initiate Auto Attack when my character actually is in melee range?

Hello, try in your fightclass to add: 

RunMacroText("/startattack")

with timer (like 2500) and active option, not spell name is lua script
