Help Requested - Create simple addon to communicate with custom plugin

I would like to create a simple addon with a basic frame that can be dragged around the screen, and will show strings of text from my plugin.

I am not quite sure how to communicate between the addon and Wrobot's plugin. Thank you in advance!
