My Expierence With WRobot

Hi I purchased the short subscription and I think the site needs to find some staffing for coding scripts because there were almost none for leveling 1-60 in questing on alliance I didn't check the horde ones.Lastly the website itself could use some upgrading visually which I would be more then willing to help out with as I am a Web Developer and Graphic designer and have a degree in the fields. I think this site has potential but it needs a better more experience staff to get it to where it should be.

Hi!

Theres a reason there are not that much profiles and i can 100% understand. Take honorbuddy for example - way too crowded. Everyone knows HB and uses the same profiles over and over. Easymode for blizz to bust everyone. To make such profiles - especially bigger ones for 1-60 or even 1-100 takes a lot of fckin time. Not even testing, debugging included. I wouldnt share the big work for free either.. i have mad respect for "eeny" for sharing his profiles, that he made for horde characters and they work great. To talk about the homepage. I think its alright and timeless. Im used to boards like this, nothing special but not bad either. Im sure the WRobot-Team has invested alot of time for everything and im thankful for that.

As a web designer I think we could make the site even more appeal able without ruining the ease of use and potentially bring it more members, Cause its a great product just needs a few more things to make it compete with others.

I can totally understand you, but i think that is up to Droidz. He is the administrator. You need to talk to him, or write him an PM instead. With more people to come, sooner or later the wrong people will come. We already have enough "mimimi this is not like Honorbuddy" douchebags inhere. This is a little community that likes to help each other and find new challenges and i like that very much. You dont lose the overview here. Sure, a few skilled members here and there, which share their work wouldnt hurt, but the download-section shouldnt be for everyone then. Maybe only for users with a paid subscription. I think you get the idea.

The website is meant to be simple and easy to use (for some people it still is way too hard...)

it's completely upto Droidz if he wants help with designing the website but i personally wouldn't ever even think about accepting help from someone who for their first post count comes on forum and offers help with improving the website. It's like on my Minecraft server people come say "hey i'm youtuber give me admin i'll make great video"

Lastly Droidz is extremely busy with real life things because of new family member and he has other projects which require attention too. You can't expect him to answer within 5 minutes

Really, you're a Web Developer?

Interesting, cuz i've checked out your site and Portfolio..

Your personal site, is just a DVI theme and from your customers the sites are Thefox, Lush etc. themes, nothing from you?

Changing graphics and adding a slider doesn't mean you've created the whole code / design.

Think about that, before you offer such services to a business, which doesn't need people like you.

Lol sorry not all of us have time to build a site from scratch almost all sites do the same thing. If you knew much about the web design world. I still had to edit code. I have a degree in web development.SO unless  you have the same qualifications please be quiet.

@Runaro How no life can you be, google a person and flame his work.

i am working for big fashion company and make a education in IT-Specialist(application development) (Frontend & Backend) i am in my second year now and i tell you what.. all companys do the same.

Why would you write sites from scratch if you have CSS Foundation, Bootstrap and stuff nowadays.
Even big sites use CSS Foundation as example, because of the Responsive Grid or e-commerce shop systems like OXID.

Do you really think big companys write this all from scratch?
if you gonna act like that, write your own bot, and bot with it. its pretty much the same.

Stop being rude, to people that want to help, thats not how a community evolves you dumbass.

Well help is always good. But in case of site-modding i just would have trust issues, to let "strangers" run around in the adminpanel. You should first of all get to know each other before letting someone participate. Especially when there is money involved.

Due to people pming me about how i handled this case. Reopened

Okay lets get things straight since there is misunderstanding in every post in this thread.

Chybo. You came on forums and first thing you do is offer help to improve website. Think it this way if i come to your business forums saying that let me help you improve website because i got professional degree from school. There is no way any of us would trust you with letting you into admin panel or even give sensitive information about anything. I'm moderator and i get paid to answer to questions here. It makes me one of highly trusted people here and i even got almost 1k postcount and i still don't have access to anything else than locking threads and giving "meaningless warnings" and ban people for spamming (that admin will then review and make sure i didn't do anything wrong)

Next off. Runaro is a web designer who does it for his job and part of it is high security and community management (on other website). Ofcourse he will comment on threads like this whatbhe thinks about posts like yours and he did it nicely (i could've expected worse but he behaved really well)

I will talk about Dreamful in next post. Gonna eat now

Okay Dreamful. I don't know much about your professional knowledge with this topic but you don't have to come call people with bad words just keep them to yourself. The point was already made in thread there was no need for more drama. This isn't the first time i see you in middle of drama...

Kevinvapes is weird guy i got nothing bad to say about him. Couldn't we all be friendly like him?

I just find myself professional and have no gain in taking over your site im not interested in it I just would like to better it to help with my portfolio and such and if I also get paid that's great. I am not some 16 year old looking to scam or anything this is my lively hood. I am a freelance web designer.

Good if things are like that but how could we kbow you're legit guy when you've been here for under a week?

Exactly, build up your trust in this community and then you can offer help. Trust via internet is paperthin.

P.S: Im still not weird @BetterSister! :P
