[FREE] 1-18 Alliance Quest Profile: Elwynn & Westfall 1.6.3

About This File

This is my free 1-18 Quest Profile. It will do most quests in Elwynn Forrest and Westfall, besides ~5 quests in total, that aren't very important.

It uses grinding only as a back-up mechanic, if you didn't reach a certain level so far, but won't play a significant roll most of the time.

As you can see in the title, this profile is a demo version of my Alliance 1-60 Quest Pack I plan to release in the upcoming weeks. That version won't be free though. You can find some video footage of it below.

Important: Found a workaround for the route problem. Should now work without manually deactivating these steps every time. Step 139 is the trigger for 127, 132, 135.

                    Version 1.6.1 has not been fully tested. Please report if something doesn't work as intended.

Please let me know your experiences, feel free to give feedback and report bugs that may occur!

You can also contact me via Discord.

Further information:

- Your fight class should be able to deal with at least two enemies at once, depending on your chosen class

-You should try to get the best possible gear in the auction house ("cheap" greens are fine) and learn new skills now and then. The bot itself will always auto pick the first item as quest reward

-Class quests are not included

-Add the following items to the vendoring-blacklist: Goretusk Liver, Flask of Oil {Obsolete with version 1.6 Credit to Matenia}

(-Recommendations: Search radius 100, Max units near target 0/1, Blacklist zones where bot died enabled)

Known Bugs:

-The Peoples Militia is kinda broken in this version and I can't figure out why. The bot will just continue killing mobs, even after completing both objectives. So there is probably something wrong with the objective detection of this quest. Next steps of the quest chain work just fine. The only work around until now is to turn in this quest by hand and disabling the two belonging steps (111, 112) in the settings. (FIXED: Quest should now function as intended. Props to Matenia.)

Update 26.09.2017: 1-40 is finished already and I'm running the second live run (on Elys) so far. There is some additional polishing and testing necessary. I also plan to add a part in Loch Modan to avoid grinding in general and make later quests easier. My goal is a profile that requires as less player input as possible. This will obviously take a huge amount of further time and care, so stay tuned.

Update 05.01.2018: Preview Video Loch Modan 13-17.

It consists of ~3 hours of the first half of Loch Modan between the grinding parts of my free 1-18 profile. Taxi (take taxi, get taxi node) is fully scripted, so that the automated taxi won't cause any trouble.

Total deaths: 5

Used plugins: iEquip (automatically equips better items)

Update 16.01.2018:

Later profile part Dustwallow Marsh ~37-38, 2,5 hours of video material.

Total deaths: 13 (most of them due to drowning)

Used plugins: None, besides WhatsGoingOn (status frame)

I haven't tested this, but I saw what you said about The People's Militia 1 1.

Assuming this is the quest:

http://db.vanillagaming.org/?quest=12

Go to your XML file, go to the <EasyQuest> declaration for this quest.

<AutoDetectObjectiveCount1>true</AutoDetectObjectiveCount1>
<AutoDetectObjectiveCount2>true</AutoDetectObjectiveCount2>

Set these to false instead.

<ObjectiveCount1>0</ObjectiveCount1>
<ObjectiveCount2>0</ObjectiveCount2>

Set these to 15 each, as below:

<ObjectiveCount1>15</ObjectiveCount1>
<ObjectiveCount2>15</ObjectiveCount2>

In the Easy Profile Creator it says to this option: "Unused on this version". I also tried to fill in numbers there nevertheless, but still didn't work. As mentioned, all similar quests work fine without this. The "Is complete condition" does not work either. Same goes for splitting the quest up in two parts.

It says that it's unused, but it's not true at all. I've specifically tried what you did and it has fixed it every time in my 58-70 quester. Generally I ALWAYS fill in the objectivecount myself.
It could of course be some bug for this specific quest, but I doubt it.

Awesome, you are absolutely right! It works now as intended, after modifying these values in the XML file as you said. Thank you very much!

If you don't want a path to be run twice, you can use the completecondition for that step.

Quest.GetQuestCompleted(questId) || Quest.IsObjectiveComplete(1, questId)

Other helpful methods are

Quest.HasQuest(questId)
Quest.GetLogQuestIsComplete(questId)
Quest.AbandonLastQuest()
Quest.CompleteQuest(gossipOptionItem)
Quest.GetNumActiveQuests()
Quest.AcceptQuest()
Quest.CloseQuestWindow()

Well, here in Swabia we say, a lack of complaining is praise enough. So I assume it's awesome. :laugh:

That's just German attitude in general.

isn't working right now. At level 4 it will spam click npc for "brotherhood of thieves" all day until you stop the script, after it has accepted the quest (won't gather items) and afterwards, i had no success getting the script to work for further quests even if i manually did that quest and marked it as completed, it would get stuck on the next quest or the one after etc.

You two are right. I assume the quest has been changed on Eylsium recently (https://github.com/elysium-project/server/pull/1543), so that you are required to have done the Brotherhood quest to do Milly Osworth. However, that leads to problems with later steps, due to Brotherhood of Thieves being an important trigger for Grape Manifest.

I'll release a fixed version within the next hours, please tell me if the problem still occurs.

I hope so, as i wanted to play alliance rather than horde. Thank you.

I will test your profile until there is a problem (if so) and will report back.

Bot does not realize bags are full and tries to hand in lvl 3 quest until I stop it.

Horrible.

Has nothing to do with the quest profile. That's part of how the bot works - you can set up when to vendor. Fucking HB crowd on these forums recently...

Options were set to keep at least 2 bag spaces open. It vendors properly with other profiles.

So is your problem description. As Matenia said, vendoring is not done by the profile. There can occur a problem if you receive more items as quest reward, than you have actually free space in your inventory left, but not less enough to trigger vendoring. So try to increase empty inventory slots or give me a useful description of whats wrong.

It is because he using profession bags. need to increase his open bag slots to the size of the profession bag. That way the bot doesn't count your bag slots in the profession bag.

@payyn518 Thanks for your review! (First one, woohoo :smile: ) Any thoughts on what to improve?

I'm working on a 1-60 profile, 1-40 (1-20 in an improved version) is more or less done and tested, 40-45 is recorded but needs more testing. There are also features missing, like automated boats, hearthstones and most class quests. But due to time limitations and me not wanting to release something uncompleted, it won't come out before 2018.

I wanted to add some more feed back. There is a murloc quest in the wastfall that put the bot in the water next to a ship. This causes the bot to not move or die. I would recommend on any quests to keep the bot out of water, if you can.

Does the bot get stuck there / entering the ship and not respecting the blacklisted area? I'll look into it.

yes, it didn't want to enter the broken ship through a window. I used a melee class so that might be the issue. Sorry for not having more information, I just noticed it on my melee bot. I believe the warlock bot made it through that quest because of the voidwalker pet.

Only tested it on my local server, but it should avoid the ship now in general or at least swim around it.

It needs a repair vendor in westfalls

You have to go to General Settings -> Other Options  -> Automatically add nearest NPCs to database and activate repair & vendors.
