[FREE] 1-18 Alliance Quest Profile: Elwynn & Westfall 1.6.3

About This File

This is my free 1-18 Quest Profile. It will do most quests in Elwynn Forrest and Westfall, besides ~5 quests in total, that aren't very important.

It uses grinding only as a back-up mechanic, if you didn't reach a certain level so far, but won't play a significant roll most of the time.

As you can see in the title, this profile is a demo version of my Alliance 1-60 Quest Pack I plan to release in the upcoming weeks. That version won't be free though. You can find some video footage of it below.

Important: Found a workaround for the route problem. Should now work without manually deactivating these steps every time. Step 139 is the trigger for 127, 132, 135.

                    Version 1.6.1 has not been fully tested. Please report if something doesn't work as intended.

Please let me know your experiences, feel free to give feedback and report bugs that may occur!

You can also contact me via Discord.

Further information:

- Your fight class should be able to deal with at least two enemies at once, depending on your chosen class

-You should try to get the best possible gear in the auction house ("cheap" greens are fine) and learn new skills now and then. The bot itself will always auto pick the first item as quest reward

-Class quests are not included

-Add the following items to the vendoring-blacklist: Goretusk Liver, Flask of Oil {Obsolete with version 1.6 Credit to Matenia}

(-Recommendations: Search radius 100, Max units near target 0/1, Blacklist zones where bot died enabled)

Known Bugs:

-The Peoples Militia is kinda broken in this version and I can't figure out why. The bot will just continue killing mobs, even after completing both objectives. So there is probably something wrong with the objective detection of this quest. Next steps of the quest chain work just fine. The only work around until now is to turn in this quest by hand and disabling the two belonging steps (111, 112) in the settings. (FIXED: Quest should now function as intended. Props to Matenia.)

Update 26.09.2017: 1-40 is finished already and I'm running the second live run (on Elys) so far. There is some additional polishing and testing necessary. I also plan to add a part in Loch Modan to avoid grinding in general and make later quests easier. My goal is a profile that requires as less player input as possible. This will obviously take a huge amount of further time and care, so stay tuned.

Update 05.01.2018: Preview Video Loch Modan 13-17.

It consists of ~3 hours of the first half of Loch Modan between the grinding parts of my free 1-18 profile. Taxi (take taxi, get taxi node) is fully scripted, so that the automated taxi won't cause any trouble.

Total deaths: 5

Used plugins: iEquip (automatically equips better items)

Update 16.01.2018:

Later profile part Dustwallow Marsh ~37-38, 2,5 hours of video material.

Total deaths: 13 (most of them due to drowning)

Used plugins: None, besides WhatsGoingOn (status frame)

Hey, just a small addition. This is C# code you can use to add items (westfall stuff) to your DoNotSell-List:

wManager.wManagerSetting.CurrentSetting.DoNotSellList.Add("Okra");

Thanks Matenia, I'll add that!

You should add dedicated trainers and vendors (that sell food/water, preferably) as well as repair NPCs in the quester profile. It makes it more reliable.
Then you can add a line to

NpcDB.AcceptOnlyProfileNpc = true;

to only use profile NPCs. That'll help with it going to random NPCs the user may have in his database or not going to trainer at all.

That's a neat idea, probably helping with a similar problem I encoutered recently as well. As always, thank you very much for your advice. :)

Is this just a subset of a larger questing profile?  This profile has worked excellent and i'd like to purchase the rest if that's a thing...

Hello, yes it is, but I need a few more weeks to balance it for weak solo classes (Warrior / Rogue), doing some minor bug fixing and implement missing features. First part will be 1-40, 40-60 will follow later. I'll also release some video footage to give everyone interested an honest impression of what to expect from the profile.

Second week of February. There are three points to start at: 1. Level 1 (obviously) 2. Level 18/19, if you didnt do any quests in Lakeshire, Darkshire and Wetlands. 3. Level 30, if you didn't do any quests in Stranglethorn, Hillsbrad or Ashenvale. Besides dungeon, class and group quests. You can be on a higher level to start, but if you already did any quests the profile wanna do, things can get messed up.

Everything works so smooth, been using it for a few alts.

But I just notice a problem, when i restart wrobot I my character need to run back and "get" all the quest from the starting zone. The quest is ofc already completet but will wait by the npc for like 5min for each quest, and it take like 1 - 2h in total.

Anyone know how to solve this?

Restart your wRobot properly (and with admin privileges) so it can save which quests you've done. It's failing to save the list for sure.

As Matenia said, it seems your list of completed quest ids is missing these quest ids. But as a workaround, you can disable those related steps (Product Settings -> Profile Settings (Enable/Disable Quests/Steps)), so the bot won't try to run them again

Profile gets stuck on Marshal Dughan keep trying to accept quest it already has. I tried to manually skip it but bot keeps running to him.

Quests are skipped after 120 seconds (by default), if the bot is unable to pick up that quest. So as a workaround, just let the bot run for a few minutes. The demo quester is overall outdated and needs a major update, I'm aware of that. However, that has to wait until the 1-60 version has been truly finished

Well, that wasn't the case here I let it sit there for 15 minutes it kept talking to Marshal Dughan. I found the step that's bugged its step [36] Pickup > WestbrookGarrisonNeedsHelp

Gets stuck at level 6 quest - Report to goldshire / fargodeep mine. Just goes in a loop trying to reaccept the quest, even after the 2 min timer. tried troubleshooting to no avail.

For step 36.... I just disabled the step and it fixed the issue. not sure if this is going to cause issues in the near future but we will see.  (needed to stop the profile, go to product settings tab, open profile settings (enable/disable quests/steps) then unlick 36.
