Findeh reacted to Matenia in Stop current quest profile and start another one
Basically. Or you can just start a new thread like new Thread(() => { stuff here;}).Start();
Those threads won't be killed because they belong to the wRobot.exe process but aren't spawned like plugins/products inside the wRobot framework

Findeh reacted to Marsbar in How to intercept corpse-run?
Is the event you're looking for not just the state? As in the resurrect state?
Try changing your condition to:
if (state.GetType() == typeof(wManager.Wow.Bot.States.Resurrect))

Findeh got a reaction from Marsbar in Custom Behaviour if Player is nearby
There is no such by default function, but i belive it is possible to do a plugin like that. You will need to scan like 100 meters radius for every unit, every 0.5 second. Then check if any of those units are players, then decide what to do. Also it will be constantley trigered in towns and major hubs, like roads, so you will need to add an exceptions when to ignore those players.
To do so you will need or, check your current region (like If i'm in Orgrimmar), or, add a list of zones "by hands", like if (me.Position.DistanceTo(new Vector3(x, y, z) < 100) then you are at the road and you should ignore players.
First problem here, it's really pain in the ass to wright such thing, add all black list locations, edit them constantly and so on. The second problem, it will constantly scanning and will do a lot of work (i supese). This will increase your CPU load and, as a result, may reduse you bot amount per pc, wich is also not good.

Why is it that none of you just make a charater use wrobot on that char load wrotation and stand still?
If you are banned while that, it's 100% clear that wrobot is detected.
Further more you will be able to figure out if it's automatic or manual (If it's automatic this will definitely confirm it, because a manual GM wouldn't ban someone for standing still lol)
Edit: You can even level to maybe level 20 or so just using wrotation. If you are banned then, again it's most likely detected.
It's the ultimate test: All these "I used this profile made by x that has been used 20.000.000 times by 20.000.000 people and i got banned! WRobot is detected!!!!"
Aren't worth much. ?

Findeh got a reaction from Marsbar in Inaru's Class Chooser ( in development )
This is obviously not my buisness, but you know that features like this will simply burn characters mana, making him drink or die often, that will totally nulify any boon of a form/aspect speed. Also it makes combat longer because you will start it with empty energy bar after shapeshift. Also it make a bot behaver more obvious, because noone will shape-shift between mobs while hand-playing.
Also in vanilla, if your bot is feral (for example) you already have 30% speed in cat form wich is already almost like travel form.

Findeh got a reaction from thxgod1 in Imort Grinder Profile into Quester
You can't import grinder profile in to a quester profile with a "tool". But you can grind with a quester profile (wich is much better then grind with a grinder).
To "import", you can try to copy your grinder profile coordinates in to the quester quest. Just copy from one file to another by hands. But i'd rather recomend you to just wright a new quester profile for a grind. This will be easyer and, most likely, faster.

That looks like a fun little project! What if you have more than 1 fightclass per wow class though?
Good luck!

Findeh reacted to Droidz in Create follow path in quester profile with CShape
Hello, yes use code like:
wManager.Wow.Helpers.Quest.QuesterCurrentContext.QuestsClasses["MyQuestClassName"].Pulse() (replace MyQuestClassName by you quest name (name used in steps))

Findeh reacted to sith500 in Careful with Botting on Netherwing!
For those who use this code:
if not _oldGetTime then _oldGetTime = GetTime; _randomTime = math.random(1000, 86400); function GetTime() return _oldGetTime() + _randomTime; end end your fight classes will not check the cooldown. Here is the code for fixing the problem (C Sharp Code):
Lua.LuaDoString<int>("start, duration, enabled = GetSpellCooldown(43265); return start;") == 0 where "43265" - your spell id
p.s.
Thank you, @Droidz this is very helpful.

Findeh got a reaction from Bambo in Careful with Botting on Netherwing!
Yeah, they do that for sure, i was clashing with one guy like this once. He was hunting my bots, while there was clearly his bots like 10 meters away. Can't remember what realm it was at tho.

Findeh reacted to Gunkas in Careful with Botting on Netherwing!
Well here is an update on my test. Been a week now and both horde bots are still running (just farming leather at level 50 non-stop without leveling). I've reported them five times each, all from unique emails. But yet they still seem perfectly fine.
In this last week I have repeated this test on Alliance side and got the same results of account closure within a few hours of the report being accepted. But when I repeated it a third time, one of the Alliance characters has gone 3 days now with no problems. I just filed a third report against it and am waiting to see what happens.
I'm wonder if there is a chance that the horde characters WERE spot checked, somehow passed and now are whitelisted.

Findeh reacted to Gunkas in Careful with Botting on Netherwing!
So I have come to the conclusion this it really is the server. So as an experiment I made two Alliance and two Horde and ran them non-stop for 48 hours turning off ALL the security features. I reported one of the Horde and Alliance at the same time after this 48 hour non-stop session. Less than two hours after I sent the report email, the Alliance character was spot checked and account closed. The Horde character went about his business undisturbed. About 12 hours later I reported the last Horde and Alliance character. Like the first time, the Alliance character was spot checked in about 2 hours and account closed.
That was 80 hours ago, and both the reported Horde characters have been going non-stop with no logging in or out. So there is definitely something weird about this server, either the GMs don't give a shit about Horde or there were other reports filed against my Alliance characters prior to my own reports. But since they both were spot checked about the same time after I sent the report, it feels unlikely.

Findeh reacted to Matenia in Creature type of WoWUnit
You can do the focus part in vanilla by using mouseover as the unit and writing the mouseover guid into memory. Use my vanilla fightclass framework as an example
-
Findeh reacted to Mykoplazma in Creature type of WoWUnit
You must 'touch' the unit to get the info. For Development Tools:
Lua.LuaDoString("DEFAULT_CHAT_FRAME:AddMessage(\"" + "-------------Start------------------" + "\")"); foreach (WoWUnit mob in wManager.Wow.ObjectManager.ObjectManager.GetObjectWoWUnit()) { var name = mob.Name; var baseAdress = mob.GetBaseAddress; wManager.Wow.Helpers.Interact.InteractGameObject(baseAdress,true,false); var type = mob.CreatureTypeTarget; Lua.LuaDoString("DEFAULT_CHAT_FRAME:AddMessage(\"" + name + " " + type + "\")"); } Lua.LuaDoString("DEFAULT_CHAT_FRAME:AddMessage(\"" + "-------------Stop------------------" + "\")"); There is another way to touch the unit ( without visible changing targets - nasty ye? ) You must use lua , focus and write the guid from scanning under focus then request the value.
Lua.LuaDoString("DEFAULT_CHAT_FRAME:AddMessage(\"" + "-------------Start------------------" + "\")"); foreach (WoWUnit mob in wManager.Wow.ObjectManager.ObjectManager.GetObjectWoWUnit()) { var name = mob.Name; var tmp = wManager.Wow.ObjectManager.ObjectManager.Me.FocusGuid; wManager.Wow.ObjectManager.ObjectManager.Me.FocusGuid = mob.Guid; string type = Lua.LuaDoString<string>(@"creatureType = UnitCreatureType(""focus"")", "creatureType"); wManager.Wow.ObjectManager.ObjectManager.Me.FocusGuid = tmp; Lua.LuaDoString("DEFAULT_CHAT_FRAME:AddMessage(\"" + name + " " + type + "\")"); } Lua.LuaDoString("DEFAULT_CHAT_FRAME:AddMessage(\"" + "-------------Stop------------------" + "\")"); And this is working solution for that problem. Credits for @reapler for showing the method with guid replacement. Tested on 2.4.3 nightbane and works here.

Findeh reacted to Ordush in Support
I will look into it asap!
I just looked into my code, it's an easy fix.
It's actually not in my plugin but rather in the questing profile.
Open the profile in the quest editor
Then click tools and Custom Scripts
public class DP { public static bool CheckArea(float x, float y, float z, int range) { if (!ObjectManager.GetObjectWoWUnit().Any(u => u.Type != WoWObjectType.Player && u.IsAlive && u.IsAttackable && u.Position.DistanceTo(new Vector3(x, y, z)) < range)) return true; return false; } public static bool LeaderReadyPull() { if (Lua.LuaDoString<string>("return TeamLeader()") == "Player" && Lua.LuaDoString<bool>("return AllReady")) return true; return false; } public static void SetObjective(string msg) { Lua.LuaDoString("SetObjective('"+ msg +"')"); } } You will see this code.
This line:
if (!ObjectManager.GetObjectWoWUnit().Any(u => u.Type != WoWObjectType.Player && u.IsAlive && u.IsAttackable && u.Position.DistanceTo(new Vector3(x, y, z)) < range)) add: && u.Health > 1
So it looks like this:
if (!ObjectManager.GetObjectWoWUnit().Any(u => u.Type != WoWObjectType.Player && u.IsAlive && u.Health > 1 && u.IsAttackable && u.Position.DistanceTo(new Vector3(x, y, z)) < range)) Now it will ignore mobs with less than 2 hp. ?
It's not the perfect solution but it will work until i release a more permanent better fix.
However this will work on the go now. ?

Findeh reacted to Matenia in Does it work on Northdale?
Because nobody uses Automaton. And there's already an official wRobot discord.
Plus you don't actually own a wRobot key...
